JillSMITHIESSMITHIES, Jillian Florence
(Former Deputy Headmistress and Teacher)

Jill gave up watching Eastenders and her word search puzzles and passed away on 23rd October aged 73.
Long suffering wife of Bob who she has left to learn how to use the washing machine. A good friend to many and will always be missed and loved.
As per Jill's instructions no mourners just celebrators, no flowers as Jill thought they were a waste of money but donate to ward 11 James Cook University Hospital. She would love you all to wear a splash of purple.

A celebration of Jill's life will take place 11am Monday 10th November at Kirkleatham Memorial Park Redcar

Fond memories of Mrs Smithies from when she was my teacher at AWJ, often seen her shopping in Sainsburys where I now work also. So sad to hear the news. Rip Jill xxx
